Doesn't look like it if that deal goes through does it?
Yes

Yeah only thing that would make sense for us is Celik for pennies and Soule on loanThere would have to be something of equal value in return like a loan for Soule or someone like that. If there’s nothing in it for us like you say our people won’t be having it.
It could be moved between organisations to avoid penalties?Dave, hand on heart mate, do you honestly believe we, after all our financial issues, would drop £30m on a player just to loan him out? Come on you’re better than that
The article is enough to give anyone a heart attack! Everton buy him then loan him to Roma?!
Pretty sure he would. Plenty lesser players than him get them.e

Would Wesley automatically get a work permit for us, or could this also be a way of getting him a work permit?
IF this deal went through (it won’t) then a more logical reading of the situation is that they’re using Roma as our development club.Doesn't look like it if that deal goes through does it?
This bloke is as reliable as they come. So Gasperini wants Wesley as a priority, but financially Roma can’t do the deal reading between the lines. So they use us to buy him and take the hit on our accounts, to then let Roma get the player? They wouldn’t dare surely? They’d be run out of town sharpish!
This would have been so far off the radar regarding anyone guessing this as a strategy, or indeed the players involved, that it could be a goer and actually work not only in theory. This is totally leftfield, as much as it would seem implausible to happen before we get our priority paid for attacking positions filled. Either we are the Friedkins afterthought or there's more £££s sloshing around than suggested?Hear me out here, but I could actually get behind Wesley being mentored by Gasperini for a year. Especially if we're sent Celik on the cheap. Celik has more European experience and I think he'd be a "safer" fit than Wesley for us currently.
Pelters?
Really? You’re not so much reading between the lines there as you are writing them yourself
