Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

So he’s crapper than garner but will be more available and get more game time ?

Niceeee !
He is more energetic than
Yup, have been on about him for weeks.
We can pick up Ivanovic as a young cheap striking option while we are there, and knock a couple of positions off the shopping list.
Agree ivanovic looks to have a good skillet, right age ect.
There are a few decent players in that division, I know its a gamble as the levels are so big these days.

Just had a look and Heath is 21 in October. Was he injured last season as only 8 games played in PL2?
didn't he just get a 3 year contract? they must be seeing something ... it might be just my age but it seems this year that not many are even pressing for a place on the bench/preseason from the Academy - not including Armstrong

My latest fruitless sleuthing can reveal that the club just followed someone on Instagram. It appears to be a sports agent — who does he represent?!

Turns out it's the agent for the tennis player Carlos Alcaraz, so whoever runs the Instagram account probably read somewhere that Albert Molina Lopez was Carlos Alcaraz's agent and thought it was about Charly.

One of these days watching Instagram followers is going to pay off — I can feel it!

Certainly neither seems favoured im Moyes plans but we do have options. Its not like we dont have FB's for the bench.

Besides Armstrong, is there anyone in the Yoof teams that might step up this season? Heath? Sherif? Graham?
Again coleman fitness issues, is not just fb on the bench will be s time during the season needed at in that quality will be needed look at the amount of times young was used. Thats even with myko injury problems, dont think is a single player apart from armstrong and one of the gk to be third choice. Who look anywhere near ready

Gonna love it when the worlds top tennis player has been booked for an appearance at the Everton store.

I get that sense too that few are showing themselves in the U23 Heath can play both LW and RW as well as through the middle so maybe an understudy for the fast as lightning right winger we are definitely bringing in 😃

According to the echo Kevin Mirallas is available, might not need to sign as many players now. How has that appeared on the website from 12 years ago!
Haha seen that myself, with a link to Darren Gibson 🤣

It's driving me crazy that people are acting like Michael Keane re-signing will be zero cost and that re-signing him will have no effect on our spending. Even if he takes a 50% wage cut (and that seems insanely optimistic to me) he'll cost us £2m in wages and a lump sum for signing. Realistically it'll be more like £3m. For Michael Keane. Pragmatic, apparently.
I did hoped would be low also hope is maybe a deal that is one with an option of another so not stuck with him.

We probably don't want a player that isn't getting in to a team that has been battling relegation for the last three seasons, do we? If we didn't already have Michael Keane and Michael Keane was available on a free from, let's say, Leicester, would you want to sign him? Of course not.

As 4th choice id probably be more incline to sign him if he was coming from a different team tbh.

Just for fun though whos the player you'd like to come in thats better then keane and happy to sit on our bench as back up and free and on the same wages?

If we want to move forward we need young hungry players, there must be another Jake out there who can play in a couple of positions in the back line. Yet we lack the ambition to find one and take the lazy choice of resigning a player we know to

Window is far from over so I don't why people are already making critical assumptions on what the squad is going to consist of at this point. If you're not satisfied with the recruitment at the end of the window, by all means gripe away but at least let things have a chance of developing first
That sounds very reasonable: please don't use that abusive vitriol in this forum:)

Yep, think Bobble said that we've gone back and offered him more money than we'd offered originally - which is insane! It's still less than he was on before his contract expiry, but it blows my mind.

It's like our fans seem to forget just how much of a liability he is, and that we all more or less expect to concede when he plays. Not the definition of a reliable 4th choice at all.

Im sorry but whos 4th choice cb is a good player?

City were using Kyle walker as cb last season and im reliable told hes the worst thing to happen to football since seb blatter.

If city dont have a better cb then what do you exspect us to have. Its about exspectations and understanding where we are as a club and how difficult the rebuild this summer is.

People crying about keane being our 4th choice cb look to me like they just dont understand where everton is as a club atm squad, financially and reputation wise.
