Not at all i kno for me i dont think moyes was sold on patterson at all and prefered young. Dixon has not done enough to be in the question for the first team. With coleman staying and us being close to getting tete would question both players here nezt season. Is no way moyes be happy with options at fbNot just to be a contrarion but we do have Patterson and Dixon who have both played in the PL. One is a full Scottish International and the other is very pacy. Seems like they have vanished from the collective mindset.
Yep, think Bobble said that we've gone back and offered him more money than we'd offered originally - which is insane! It's still less than he was on before his contract expiry, but it blows my mind.By the looks of things we are going to have to compromise all over the pitch given the links so far. The only position we are looking like spending any real money on is CF (which is obviously the correct move if we have a limited budget). Our fourth choice CB will play games. They did last season and we are more shorthanded this season. Some are comfortable with Michael Keane, it seems you are for example. I'm not sure what those who are up for him staying on have seen him during his performances for us but all I've seen is an utter liability.
Your premise seems to be that if we let Keane go and have to replace him then that will mean we won't be able to sign our first choice player in some other starting position but I've seen little evidence to support that thesis.
I also don't think anyone is proposing letting Keane go and replacing him with an expensive CB. Keane, by the way, isn't cheap. His last contract was £80k a week by all accounts. He may take a pay cut but he's not suddenly going to accept the £20-30k that many on here seem to think he will be getting next season.
Certainly neither seems favoured im Moyes plans but we do have options. Its not like we dont have FB's for the bench. Not at all i kno for me i dont think moyes was sold on patterson at all and prefered young. I find humour in the people getting wound up.It's tedious every summer mate, it is what it is. Best bet is to find humour in the tedium, than get wound up.
A much more potent stink...Ironically a lot of members on this forum seem deprived of sex thus trying to fill that empty void on here..

Just had a look and Heath is 21 in October. Was he injured last season as only 8 games played in PL2?Certainly neither seems favoured im Moyes plans but we do have options. Its not like we dont have FB's for the bench.
Besides Armstrong, is there anyone in the Yoof teams that might step up this season? Heath? Sherif? Graham?
It's driving me crazy that people are acting like Michael Keane re-signing will be zero cost and that re-signing him will have no effect on our spending. Even if he takes a 50% wage cut (and that seems insanely optimistic to me) he'll cost us £2m in wages and a lump sum for signing. Realistically it'll be more like £3m. For Michael Keane. Pragmatic, apparently.Yep, think Bobble said that we've gone back and offered him more money than we'd offered originally - which is insane! It's like our fans seem to forget just how much of a liability he is, and that we all more or less expect to concede when he plays. Not the definition of a reliable 4th choice at all.
Yes, we've seen them and we know their heinous. Signing a replacement may not work out, that's true of any signing, but re-signing a player who has already failed, repeatedly, is illogical. Let's get someone on a similar deal who's warts may be less stomach churning.Well, that's not true.
At any rate, anyone we get will have warts. The only difference between him and someone of his ilk is that we've seen his warts week-in and week-out.

I'm not saying don't have a fourth choice centre half, so obviously we'll have to pay them wages. I'm saying don't give perennial loser Michael Keane any more millions than he's already extracted from us.It will cost that much to replace him, ergo not more.
