I just imagine clubs don't have the most cash flow at this time of year and that it might have an impact on how much can be spent early in the window for some. As I said though, it might not be an issue that affects anybodies early window business, I'm just wondering if it does.

We have money this summer to spend. It’s simply no excuse to keep Keane.

Lindelof and Zouma were free agents this summer, both aren’t very good but are still a lot better than Keane.

I don't think it will be an issue. Transfers will still be set up on payment plans on a case by case basis. Money doesn't necessarily need to change hands the moment it is agreed.

If TFG are able to pay up front, that does give us an advantage over many, however.

No worries, I was only thinking about us in that scenario and how we used to generate cash flow ourselves. It's an interesting question you raise though.

Yeah it was always going to be a free transfer. I thought we'd have managed to get somebody a bit better than Gunn to be honest, just a case of hoping Pickford keeps up his good appearance record because you definitely do not want him to be starting too many games.
