2024/25 Michael Vincent Keane

Looked a different player those last few matches - throughout his managerial career Moyes has shown he develops and improves defenders and Keano's end of season form compared to his horror shows when Moyes first joined suggest the new coaching team is having a positive effect, so I don't think a 1 year contract as 4th choice CB is such a bad thing. Particularly given the mass exodus of players we've had already this summer.

A few half decent performances when there is nothing on the line and against teams for whom many players are on the beach means nothing... with a contract to play for.

Has shown time and time again that, when the pressure is on, he folds - lacking self motivation to perform, often losing his positioning and concentration, with an inability to read the game and clearly communicate. Directly responsible for a multitude of important goals conceded. His best season for us (no coincidence) was when there were no fans in the stands.

If we are forced to keep him for financials sake, then fine, but if we can get rid of him we absolutely have to, in my opinion

It’s not just the financials. Are we going to get someone better than him who can accept being 4th choice?
