Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Tanganga at Millwall suppose to have a 1.2 million release clause,
More than likely make that back in lower wages.
He reads the game well is younger than Keane.
There will be others out there,
I really can't say I want Keane to stay , but can see the reasons behind it as backup
As we need squad numbers.
If the manger wants him it's his call.
Yup, have been on about him for weeks.
We can pick up Ivanovic as a young cheap striking option while we are there, and knock a couple of positions off the shopping list.

Yo would be surprised, mate

Arsenal - £5m sub goalie

Villa - 19 year old Centre back they agreed in February

Bournemouth - Cheaper left back for £14m replacement for £40m outgoing

Brentford - 2 loans turned to permanent, plus a goalie from the reds for £14m

Burnley - 4 loan turned to permanent, plus a winger from Holland for £9m

Palace - Sub goalie on a free

Toffees - 1 loan turned to permanent

Fulham - No one

Newcastle - A free 19 year old winger and a 17 year old who wont move until he's 18

Forest - No one

Spurs- 3 loans turned permanent, plus a kid they agreed on last year

West Ham - 1 loan turned permanant

That's if you don't count loans turned permanent and pre agreed deals, thats £42m spent between 12 clubs

Other clubs

Brighton - Fair amount spent but they have endless money with sales
Chelsea - Mad Big club money
Leeds - 1 x £18m signing, 1 x £6m signing plus a free
Reds- Big club money
City - Big club money
Utd - Big club money
Sunderland - Great signing of Diarra £31m, plus a loan made permanent in Le Fee (Did sell Bellingham & Watson for £45m though)
Wolves - 1 x player from Celta £23m, plus 1 x loan turned permanent (Sold Cunha)

So that's only really Brighton who have spent anywhere near over £25m without having to sell, apart from the big big clubs of course

Blows my mind we haven’t threatened legal action unless other clubs are dealt with with expediency

They didn’t waste time with us did they…

Their failure to complete our initial hearing in a timely fashion led to a delay that literally kept us in the Premier League. Without the delay to our initial proceedings, we would have been relegated without a doubt.

Everton that.

I think most of our more significant signings so far have been on the board and back room staff to be fair.

BBC Football are doing a 'live' transfer thread every day it seems. I had a little perusal of it late yesterday, it features a lot of comments by fans. Man Utd, Forest and Newcastle are particuarly twitchy and complaining about not getting players in early, and United have actually bought a £60 million striker. Everyone's a know it all these days, and think it'd be dead clever if all your business was done by 2nd July, and in some ways, they're right, it tends not to happen though, and most clubs haven't done probably 20% of the transfer business (incomings) they're going to do this summer.
We literally have Barry lined up which would put us right up there just below the Super League clubs in money spent.
Thats how little happens early on.

Think its mainly down to a couple of things, PSR being the big one
But the other is waiting for the bigger boys to select the player they want, then you have to go round seeing what s left

Loans probably more likely once the top table have had their pick of who's available. I'd expect us to use all our available loan places later in the window.
