Its a big investment for us mate, I get the market, but if you are signing someone for £32 mill you want to be selling them for more then that, essentially you are investing with the belief that you can sell this lad for minimum £10 mill more…hopefully more, that’s the jeopardy.

Looks like the lad is progressing year on year. Last seasons highlights are quite impressive for a 22year old in a new league. One things for sure the boy will cause havoc for defenders, he can take a player on, runs off the shoulder and looks aggressive in the air. Already an upgrade on Doms 3 goals in my (humble) opinion

It's a risk but his profile is exactly the type that we should be targeting.

If it comes off he has a very high ceiling.

If not we should be able to sell him back to Spain for decent money provided his wages aren't ridiculous.

Yep that's the game nowadays.

Players only have to have 1 half decent season in the Prem and their price rockets.
Just seen Jaoa Pedro sign for Chelsea for 60 mil.
And we done rather well out of Onana.
