So as the guy in charge of the regional authority and the person I see as the public face initially lauding the project, it seems to me you're inferring he's not culpable for what seems to be an imminent debacle?
Asking because I don't live in the region.

Rotheram deals with transport as leader for Liverpool City Region Combined Authority.

Planning and safety certificate is for Liverpool City Council.

Indeed. It's the "new" version of Subbuteo - and I think I prefer that. This whole new stadium thing has reactivated my childhood/teenage Subbuteo stadium obsession. BMD needs a proper TV Tower now.

I've just read @Infernus post which explains the role of LCRCA.
That hole he is in, he'd better stop digging.

You would think so.

But so far he dismisses all the complaints out of hand.

He knows that after 2 weeks or so the pressure goes away until the next time. Rinse and repeat.

Why did I think that the tunnel was in the corner of the ground?

Think that’s the access / egress point for maintenance plant or ambulances etc should they need to drive in.

Only Evertonians could miss that half the league has these retractable tunnel efforts for the last 10/15 feet of their entrances and they all look the same. But no, ours is the most terrible of all. Nobody hates Everton more than our ‘fans’ do.

Is the tunnel central or in the corner like at Old Trafford? Originally thought it was going to be in the corner North/West Stand?test event I went to they came out on half way line!!!

That’s the vehicular access tunnel in the north west.

Player tunnel is halfway line, where it belongs!
