I think that the image indicates that flying there in an aeroplane is a way he could be on his way to Liverpool.Struggling to think or see how that image could in any way indicate he's on his way to Liverpool!
Thing is though, that won't make any difference to what the players are actually worth it will it? No football club is sitting there using the Echo to value potential signings, so whether they say it's a fair price or not makes absolutely no difference to anything.
I think people hugely overplay the media's role in that type of thing to be honest, that's just not how the real world works. I also think if we had a 22 year old who'd already had a season where they got 18 goal involvements at the top level and had been player of the tournament in a major youth tournament we'd probably think £40m was a fair price, but there we are.Well it does and it doesnt.
It doesnt make vauations change but it changes the viewed valuation of a player in the eyes of the world if you have media constantly saying one thing about someone.
You only have to look at the pressure we were under last season to sell branthwaite. At the start of the transfer window everyone was saying we wanted £70m minimum. Then over the course of the summer with the media campaign of us to sell him the wider world decided that £40-50m is what we should be happy with and even some of our owe fans started believing it.
It can work the other way as well as were seeing with Elliott. Hes never worth 40m but Liverpool will get it and the media spin will help that happen.
Elliot finished the final with cramp and an ice block on his knee, they can't get the "105 million" worth of players who flopped against championship relegated Plymouth Argyle out of the door quick enough. Put that in the red echo for once.Always classed Elliot as a very ordinary player, bit part player for years, runs around a lot, average pace and pops up with thd odd goal. All of a sudden he's for sale, Liverpool need funds for their World record spending spree. Elliot scores goals galore in the U21 tournament, looks the part, he is an average player like, that is liverpool's luck, when it's time to sell, Elliot somehow comes alive and scores goals..for the U21 team. Suddenly he's a £40m pound player, you could not make it up, I hope to the blue Hell we don't buy him.
I'd say for those 3 (Elliott just got player of the tournament, which Gordon got previously and he got bought before that for £40)
Nunez cost them £80m, they will want to recoup a good wedge of that
Chiesa, I'm not sure on, obviously worth more talent wise, but fitness is terrible
Welcome to the Everton Cost-Saving Era.Not even a private flight from Dan
Appalling
Was coming in to ask if anyone had commented on any of his posts telling him to sign, because that’s a sure fire way of sealing the deal.
If it was a standby ticket It would be strong indicator he was signing for Manchester unitedNot even a private flight from Dan

18 the season before. I'm not advocating us signing him or saying he's the greatest player in the world, just that if we're honest we would think he was worth that if he played for us and had those sort of stats. I don't see the point in pretending otherwise really. He got 9 goal involvements for liverpool last season.
Dont include goals and assists in the under 21s, means nothing.
Ndiaye got 10 goals last season how much is he worth?
