Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Yeah. No idea if it's true in all cases. Just the ones I know of with our players (usually with Barcelona).

I didn't see where you conceded it as a valid point but if I missed that you have my sincere apologies sir.

No need to apologise mate, it's just a forum and I don't expect anybody to make sure they've read everything I've said before commenting on something.

For the record, thks is what I said:

Maybe so. The point remains though. Barca decided to take Gerry back just to move him on. An injury crisis, the hint of interest from other clubs, or even filling the homegrown quota could easily see a last 'second' decision made to come in and take the player back.

We go with what we've got

Not many clubs have more than 2 first team strikers...even city only have haaland and marmoush
If we have Beto and Barry, it only takes for one to get an injury for the other to be playing every single game regardless of form. Also, it is horrible to be needing a new outlet during a game and you look at our bench and see three right backs and no striker.

Also an injury or suspension to one negates us ever trying to play two up front in a game from the start or even when chasing a game. CBA with Keane up front.

Three strikers offers flexibility, and frankly, our defence the last few years has been ok, it’s our complete lack of goal threat the main thing we need to address.

It'd be nice, but i can't see it...we need so many players in other positions before having 3 strikers...maybe a winger who can also play upfront
