Do you think they would have done if they had one for Palmer? It's all hypothetical, of course.
Probably yeah but it honestly depends on what figure it was because they knew how good he was when they sold him. They tend to set their buy back price at double the sale so at 80 mil they probably would but Palmer also probably wouldn't go back.

Going down the same line of thinking if Everton got offered Palmer for 2 years but then we had to sell him for double at the end of it would you take it? i would.

The level Mcatee (or any other youngster) would have to play at in order for City to buy him back would have to be such a high level, he would have to drag us single handedly to Europe or a cup. At which point I would happily take that trade off.

They didn't exercise their buy backs on Delap, Lavia, Pedro Porro or Frimpong though. They almost definitely won't on Harwood Bellis either, nor are they activating Traffords. If we have a player getting a buy back clause activated off city, then we will have got an almost world class player.

With gritted teeth, personally speaking. But that's because I want to see us build something and not lose our assets before we get there.

He scored 3 goals in the league. He didnt start games because hes now utter crap.

What "rating" is this from, because its certainly not from anyone supporting AC Milan or Roma lol

3 goals and 4 assistsIn 1183 minutes is decent going for a back up striker. If we had him as a 3rd choice itd be better then DCL. Who scored 3 goals and got 1 assist in 1629 minutes across 26 games and 19 starts.

Rating was on sofascore.
