Anyone read Duncs book yet?

Went to see an Dunc tonight and if half of what he says is true and not dramatised, then it’s a real eye opener.

I’ve never heard of any of tonight’s stories in recent podcasts.

I believe him over some of the people at the club and have no reason to doubt any of his stories.

Thank God the previous chairmen have all gone, hopefully we will thrive with TFG at the hickory Dickory Dock stadium.

Part way through the audiobook to fill in time of lots of boring flights at the minute.
He was never a favourite of mine, and so far it’s not changed my opinion.
Several times I’ve had to double-check that it is about Duncan and not Jim McClean and Duncan’s dad.
I’ll persevere with it as it whiles away the mind-numbing boredom of constant flying.

Does he not like Baines or Cahill then?
There were just a couple of bits. One when Cahill was in the offices in London when Dunc was getting interviewed for the job, he thought that was strange. And he says about Baines chirping off to the players getting above his station in the dressing room. I might have read more into it, just how I thought it came across.

Just finished it. Decent read. Don’t understand the reason he was so angry at Moyes first time around. He had earlier wrote he went to Moyes the previous Christmas saying he was packing it in. Then he seemed angry that Moyes hadn’t told him he was releasing him. Love dunc though. Hope it makes him a few quid.

Almost finished the audio book, one more walk and i'll be done.

He thinks a lot of himself doesn't he!!
Yes.

It's faction.

About 50% is fiction, 50% fact.

Henry Winter must have been rolling his eyes transcribing the tapes he got from Ferguson.

I suppose when a player's career has been a huge failure then you turn to making stuff up to fill a book out. And obviously recounting stories about being a thug only goes so far.
