Surely we have to have something in place to get the remaining contract talks firmed up and several through the door ready for preseason?

He might be, but he’s still streets ahead of any of our current options.

Chermiti and arguably Armstrong should be out in loan next year for experience.
Neither has shown anything at this level yet.

But as it stands am pretty calm about it.

Who knows, but we will find out pretty soon.

I will be judging the recruitment on what sort of squad we have available for week 1. I don't accept the judge us at the end of the window stuff. No good team does most of their business in the second half of August.

I'm more optimistic now than in the last couple of years. But we will need to wait and see what happens over the next few weeks.

24 subs = 2 goals

The worst player on the pitch in almost every single game.

He got 2 of those goals in the last 9 games 1 in the Copa Italia and one against Fiorentina in the league.

3 goals over the rest of the season. In his final 5 games he got more than 18mins on the pitch 1ce.

He had a dreadful season and hes been dreadful since he came back from long term injury.

This is why he has no interest from Milan to keep him, or from Roma who have been trying to ship him out with no takers until Turkey.

He should be happy to have a move to Turkey.
