Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I see we’ve intensified our interest and ready to get going on July 1st.

HEAD THE BALLS GALORE

“not yet received an offer or engaged in negotiations with them”

Not surprised by this: Moyes is on holiday and the recent football ‘executive’ recruits are either on gardening leave or working their notice periods.

Also the Friedkins will have plenty to do at Roma if their FFP issue is correct.

I’ve just been the chippy and the fella behind the counter, who is also a Everton season ticket holder said that there are a host of clubs in for Mcatee and that I shouldn’t get my hopes up. Shame because I quite like him tbh. Anyway there’s plenty more out there so watch this space.

All you did was go for your McAtea and now this.

Didn't Hibernians finish 3rd?
Hey, I didn’t say I verified my “facts.”

I’m an OOTK, an out of the know, otherwise known as a” know nothing.”

I think I misread something on Transfermarkt. He was on loan at Motherwell, and they were in the Relegation Round, so his most recent stats category just says “Premiership Relegation.” It seemed to make sense that that lined up with having his contract terminated, but maybe he’s just crap.

Er, no, mate. Having worked for an organisation valued at just 85p plus a bag of crisps, I can't remotely envisage that holidays etc would influence multimillion pound transactions and mission critical issues. Also, people with an almost infinite amount of cash by normal standards can easily conference with each other and their minions from the North Pole or the top of Kiimanjaro.

It's a stable long term loan of about £400 million over 20+ years, so approx £20 million a year. The naming rights deal is approximately £7 million and if you take the extra 13 thousand seats x 20 matches x £75 a seat is just under £20 million so I'd say we'll be slightly better off and in the long term a lot better off
Makes sense. Helpful to see it in those terms. Thanks, mate.
