For those thinking DCL on a free, will struggle to get a contract worth in the region of £120k per week, here what a few of his peers are costing their clubs according to the usual sources:
Solanke (27) - £90k/w 6 year contract £55m fee = £349k per week.
Danny Ings (32) - £125k/w 2.5 year contract £12m fee = £217k per week.
Chris Wood (33) £80k/w 2y contract (after loan) £12m fee = £195k per week.
Beto (27) - £53k/w 4y contract £25m fee = £177k per week.
Can’t even be bothered doing it for the like of Hojlund (4 goals-£72m) , Zirkzee (3 goals-£34m), Nunez 6 goals-£65m)

Personally I don’t think he will struggle, but I’m sure the wage rumours will start leaking soon enough.

Lads, it's over. You don't need to keep this up.

No problem with any player going. I do however have issue with players running their contracts out for a bigger signing on fee, see Barkley. Just say you want to go under contract and let the club cash in ?
He didn’t ea t to sign another contract for our then mess - what’s a man to do? We then priced him out of skunks move

Good luck to him etc etc

He owes Everton nothing, Everton owes him nothing.

He’s easily replaceable as is any pretty average footballer.

He’s scored some important goals for us, but they are soon forgotten due to his consistency in being unavailable and also the last 2 seasons being pretty forgettable.

No hard feelings towards the lad at all.

I'm hoping Moysie can get a decent replacement for Dominic Calvert-Lewin sooner rather than later, we could do with the full squad getting the preseason together. That said, finding a good forward isn't that easy, as we've found out in the past with these: Sandro Ramirez, Cenk Tosun, and Neal Maupay.

None of them (or others like Kean) were ever given the chance to play consistently in a way similar to how they'd been played prior to us signing them (which led to us signing them in the first place); I include Maupay in that.

Over the past ten years this club has destroyed a load of forwards by insisting on that nonsense 4-5-1.

Thanks, that`s me having nightmares all night.
