I’d be very disappointed if we spent 30+ mil on a guy who wasn’t coming in day one in the starting XI if fit

It’s why I’m questioning Beto’s fit with a new striker who we may be looking to invest heavily in. He will also want to be the starter given his respective fee and form. It’s difficult for a striker to just drop in after a few games not getting decent time.

Bayern will always buy german talent that can run in a straight line for crazy money. Thats not for getting a better team (VolldieMade is not that good) but only to weaken the other German teams. A business model since 1970's.

Swapping a rough around the edges but potentially consistent goal scorer who just happens to actually be an Evertonian in Beto for a young player, not impressive in the U21s and untested at PL level, but elsewhere had a decent record.

Honestly not sure myself but always happy to be proven wrong, just feel to me Beto has earnt that number 9 and we've not even seen his best yet before potentially putting him out the door
