You know, I agree with you - but I don't blame DCL. I blame the club.He loved the club that much that he allowed his contract to be ran down leaving Everton with zilch for a 28 year old striker. It was obvious a year ago that he would be leaving tbh.

I don't blame anybody. All part of the game, init. FWIW, I wasn't totally opposed to him seeing out his last year. I thought there were some signs the season before that we could maybe drag 10 goals out of him and that he could stay fit for a decent chunk of a sesason; then he went backwards, again, and delivered 3 league goals in 26 appearances. Sadio Mane scored 3 goals in about 2 minutes once.
