Accountant 2

2/10 had to turn it off, how they managed to destroy a potentially great idea.

Put The Amateur on,
love that the CIA director basically comes in and shows Rami Malek his missus being killed on a massive TV in his office after informing him she’s dead.

Saw F1 today. Feels like it is very much a film for the Drive to Survive generation of F1 fans. The racing scenes look great but I think Romain Grosjean must have been the main advisor on set based on what that action is.

It’s a fun enough film and seeing it in IMAX added to it. Realism definitely took a day off but that is no bad thing sometimes.
I watched it on Thursday. First time i have been to the cinema since The Batman came out. I really enjoyed it, thought the music was an excellent fit throughout.

Saw F1 this afternoon. Easygoing fun with the camera work and tech from Top Gun Maverick used.

Only issue, not sure about the use of the Martin Donnelly crash. Obviously they got his permission as he's listed in the credits but just the use of a real life incident, just made me a little uneasy.

Warfare

Iraq War romp based on real-life events. A unit of US Navy Seals get ambushed in some downtown area after a couple of their squad members get blown up by an IED, and to add to their strife, there’s only half a tin of Spam! left.

28 Years Later.

Best described as a " massive disappointment ".

The good - the chase across the causeway / the petrol station scene ( amazing camera work ). The soundtrack was very good too.

The bad - criminal waste of Jody Comer and Raiph Fiennes and the whole film trying to be clever and " surreal ".

I appreciate that it was a different film, as nearly all of the infected were now dead, so there`s not going to be wave after wave of attacks like the first two, but the fact that you have the Alpha`s ( fast and clever `) and the slow ones ( pointless addition ) still alive made no sense at all. Even worse we now have infected women, who are capable of giving birth to non infected babies

The completely mad, but I loved it - Jack O`Connell and his tribe of velour clad Ninja Jimmy Saville`s

Rope (1948)
I've had two Hitchcock box sets laying around for many years. It was time to finally open one of them. I'm simply too tired to write much about the film now, but you've just got to love James Stewart. 7/10

Probably my favourite Hitchcock. I love films that are primarily set in one place and live or die solely off the strength of the script. Jimmy Stewart is brilliant as always

Even if you ignore the previous two and view it as a stand alone movie, it's very poor, seems like there was 3 or 4 producers pulling different ways, I can't see the next installment being anything other than a comedy after that ending

The first two had that mad frenetic induced anxiety feel about them too, there was very little of that in this film ( the house at the beginning, the causeway chase, the train and the petrol station, that was about it. The vast majority of it was just dull and didn`t really take the story anywhere.

There was people openly laughing when the infected women gave birth, whilst holding onto Jody Comer`s hands and then tried to eat her once the baby was born

They massively need to pull their socks up with the next one.
