Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Come on lets be positive.

As it stands today we are Doucoure short of what arguably is our best team from last season. A team that from the date of Moyes taking control was in the upper half of the table on form.

Our starting 11 may not be too different at the start of the season.

If we get Barry his goal output is unlikely to be less than DCL's.

If we get Tete our defence is strengthened or the options improved.

We'll sign some other players. Some will work and others will not. If we get them in their early 20s we'll probably recoup a healthy chunk of any transfer fee. We managed it with Maupay.

We'll loan some players and probably unless they are incredibly good, or have some premier league experience they'll be squad fillers.

Even Brighton's magic wand fails sometimes.

The weather's good so lets chill.

Of course if Ghana leaves and Tete remains at Fulham all bets are off

Reminds me a lot of McNeill at Burnley at that age (minus the step overs!). Get to the bye line and get your cross in. I’m sure there will be other facets to his game too. We have suffered Harrison hitting the 1st man for the past 2 years, so someone capable of putting a cross into the danger area shouldn’t be scoffed at!
I like McNeil.. but 1 McNeil is enough I think 😄

Just because large swathes of their fanbase are absolute beauts be quite nice to poach Habib Diarra from under Leeds noses.

He surely won't go to Leeds. There will be bigger clubs in for him if he is available. The majority of the most-mentioned players will end up at major or Champions League clubs. Woltemade is an example - linked with loads of teams of varying calibre and then, bang, news of him agreeing a deal with Bayern. It's silly season and agents and click-bait alleged ITKs are having a field day.
