As I see it, the lad is a goal scorer, excellent in the air and at 6f 5 is going to be a real handful. Lots of folk get hung up on holding the ball up (which he will improve on) but the thing that excites me most from what I’ve seen is how he plays off the shoulder and makes runs in behind. As I’ve said before, playing against a striker with his back to goal (DCL) is bread and butter for a defender, but playing against a striker playing off your shoulder is a nightmare and helps create space and opportunities for clever players to pass/move into. This move points to a more aggressive/attacking Everton which we’d all surely welcome
