Yeah you’re right, the date on the photo is 1935 mum was born 1918 so probably a good chance she may have move by then but unsure
The National Library of Scotland have some online maps of Liverpool from 1889-90 which may be of some use. I managed to find Mount Vernon View on one.I’ve tried looking for the exact location of the street with no success my elder sister believes it was around where the service road is that gives you access to the old royal laundry. Was wondering eggs with you coming from that neck of the woods if you had any idea of its location.
Not sure where mum went to school but I do know that she got married in sacred heart church corner of Prescott street. That friend of my mum who I mentioned my original post well according to my mum she was the last baby christened in St Peter’s church on church street before is was demolished no idea if true.…..my Mum 1923, we went to Rathbone School off Low Hill.
