Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Couple of links to Timothy Weah of Juventus today. Apparently he can play on both wings and cover both FB positions. In theory , that would be an ideal squad member due to his versatility (especially on loan). However , I don't think that I have ever seen him play. Is he any good ?.
He would be an upgrade on the last Mr versatility we had Mr good old young

Think younger version of what we got out of Ashley Young

One of only a few US players I wouldn’t mind us going for. He’s at his best on the right wing I think so makes sense. Also think his game suits the prem. Be a good signing if we could swing it for the right price.

Just to confirm the criteria for players we should be targeting that nobody will complain about, according to the brains trust of GOT.

The player must be under the age of 28 but also older than 23 because they must have experience.

They must represent value for money, but also must have a proven record playing in a top league. Free transfers are not good enough because WHY ARE THEY BEING RELEASED??

They must never have been injured, ever.

For a striker they need to have a proven 15-20 goal per season record in a top league but also be available for less than £40m because we could never afford that.

We must be the only club interested because we can’t compete with anyone, but also if nobody is interested then he must be crap.

Reckon I’ve narrowed it down to about 3 players worldwide we could get lads.

Subclause to the "they must never have been injured, ever":
  • Player must not have ever suffered Hamstring tears in particular.
