Presumably Fulham would have offered him terms of some kind? Bodes well that we can be attractive against clubs like Fulham either through wages or the ambition of the new regime.

That's different isn't it. This is a signing, not a contract extension. He clearly wants him there to be a glorified mascot in the dressing room who can play 5-7 games. Moyes likes leadership groups and has always said so in interviews. We've lost a few of those players, so he is obviously trying to keep Coleman around.

I'm surprised at him wanting Tete with that injury record but, like I said, I think Tete's a good player.
