New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I have a genuine fear this ground isn’t going to be a good thing for us at all.

I am dreading it, actually. If only we could have redeveloped Goodison,

Let's see how much they invest into the squad this summer and then let's see how much they squeeze out of fans in that new stadium over the next couple of seasons.

They're here to fatten this turkey up for a sale. Hopefully when they do it's to new owners with plenty of investment money.
Hopefully, they will only spend what they can, arsed going through another points deduction season.. If they spend 50 million we'll have people moaning about them not ploughing enough money into the club, I can only assume that their accountants will be better than moshiri and will know how much we can spend to stay out of trouble..

Hill Dickinson have a worldwide turnover of 145m. No way can they pay £10 a year.

Evertons annual turnover is £40 mill more mate.

And they have no way the costs that a football club has or operate at the loss Everton has.

Whether they pay £10 mill or not is debatable, whether they can or not i wouldn't be at all concerned.

Either way it ultimately not the clubs issue, they have to pay what they agreed.

There is a view that Hill Dickinson could include legal fees in lieu as part of the sponsorship deal though that would assume the club would have to retain them and dispense with any other firm they engaged, at least in part. They appear to specialise in commercial law.

Not sure about that. The PL is the big money printing League on the planet, where you can earn, by getting relegated, similar money to a team in other leagues around Europe that are finishing in the top end of their leagues. The fact they have a multi club system would make me think that they want to have a top club with big earning potential, that can suck the life out of the other smaller teams in their system. I suppose the proof will be if they choose to off load Roma in the near future as both of us will have our sights set on the CL, and there`s only problems when multi club owners end up with two of their clubs in the same competition. If they were to have to offload one of us or Roma, I`d be thinking that Roma might be the better choice to sell. Just the fact that the Italian game just doesn`t generate near enough cash as the PL can, and that their stadium situation where they don`t own it and can`t maximize revenue from it, makes ourselves a better prospect to keep hold of.

They've got it all to do.

So far they seem to be coasting on a wave of Evertonian relief that the club wasn't bought by 777.

The only reasonable stance to take up on the new owners and the 'exceptional operatives' they've hired is to be cautious/cynical about them all.

How can any Everton fan not be after the last 25 years worth of Kenwright, Gregg, Green and Moshiri?

I'm not sure that's an issue anymore anyway, is it?

On your first point: it's hard to conclude that they wont be using the clubs they have as nodes within a circuit in which they exchange players and shuffle about cash in.

They have a huge ready make excuse with Everton in terms of maintaining spending to the minimum by keeping the PSR excuse in play (with the help of onside journalists and fans on footy forums who desperately dont want more ownership churn). PSR re Everton was always more political: revolving around who owned Everton more than anything else. Yank owners takes care of that.

They have it all to do in my opinion. This summer will hand us the first signs of their intentions.

I am cautious, but I'd be a little less worried if they don't go crazy buying players like we did during Moshiri and it came back and bit our ass. like it or not football is now a business and needs to be run with that in mind.

What would they have to do, for you to be happy with their first summer in charge?

What’s the bar in terms of minimum expectations to get the Davek seal of approval?
