Funny enough, I have never been a big fan of the band, but they were paying at this festival and I figured I'd check them out.

They were a lot of fun! Sounded great, lots of energy, can't complain at all. I'm sure you already knew, but the original singer's son fronts the band now, thought that was really cool.

Yeah I knew that - Just in case I needed something else to help me feel ancient!! Similar to the rumours swirling of Taylor Hawkins's son being the new Foo Fighters drummer.

Sad news that Patrick Walden from Babyshambles has passed away.

A pal did floor standing for NIN at Co-op arena last night. He's in his early 50's and is laid up in bed today. He says it was a rampage up the front, survival of the fittest.
Anyone go? They're on at London O2 tonight.

I was there for o2, seated unfortunately but got to see the scale of the production. Mind blowing stuff, NIN have been pretty much my favourite band, but after seeing them for the 6th time I finally got to see Perfect Drug

I'm not wizened enough to know the relevance but have read they did 'A minute to breathe', 'that's what I get', and 'fragile'. Apparently songs not done live for between 17 and 34 years. Pal said the stage show and the set up effects were spectacular, the A stage B stage worked well, he's still suffering but is heading back to mobile.

Down at the Pier Head to watch Sting. The Christians got 2 songs in and the drummer had a heart attack behind the kit. Luckily they got a pulse and took him in the ambulance. Horrible sight.
