Have just been for a haircut and my barber said Tait was in yesterday (he does go to that shop). Anyway, he was chatting on about the new stadium etc and then said Moyes plans on taking 14 of the U21 squad on 1st team pre-season tour.

Donno about that, youngest keeper he's given a game to for us was Tim Howard and he was near 30.
Can remember his signing a lot of crap older keepers for the bench too

Thought thats where the 'joke' started where we signed at least 1 keeper for the youth teams every window.

Hopefully he'll sort out the medical side of things as a priority too and do a deep dive into the amount of attrition and squad depletion due to hamstring injuries that have plauged us in recent times.

Some do, but it's often just a buzzword to make the staff sound better in the press and doesn't marry up with reality.

If you were to make every youth side play in generic colours you might identify like 3 that definitely look like their counterparts at seniors.

In fact on the contrary the 3 really good academies, including United, often do not mimic the first team at all

I thought the Martinez experiment put paid to Everton playing possession football. Just isn’t our thing, the dars won’t have it.

Never seen a more toxic Goodison atmosphere than West Brom under Martinez where Mirallas missed that pen.
