USMNT - The Pochettino era

Anyone watched much of Freeman before the last 2 weeks? Of the new guys, he seems to me to be the one that might have a real future in a bigger league than MLS.

He’s an excellent attacker, have watched him living in Orlando. Poch has made him an auxiliary CB in this match. Everthing is down the left side which is illogical.

SA are organized but the US are predictable. Freeman, McGlynn and Tillman haven’t see any of the ball because we are so left dominant. It’s not working.

Yes it’s very lopsided. Arfsten is a good player but he’s been our focal point going forward which makes no sense. If he doesn’t adjust at half it really begs the question as to what he’s actually doing. Think he’s got the right players out there but not playing to their strengths.

Agyemang just seems a bit slow. Don’t think he compares well to the other strikers. Even a guy like Daryl Dike, who has suffered through injuries, is quicker.

I feel like Poch lost the first half. I can’t blame the players for how they were set up.

2nd half started better and the goal was coming.

Winners for the players are Richards and…maybe Tillman in the 2nd.

Downs to me showed more than Agyemang

Referee was directly responsible for the stop start nature of the game for allowing himself to be surrounded multiple times with no cards.
