Good morning all on this miserable day ,we are exåecting drizzle all day . I hope all had as good a night as possible and have a lovely day today . Condolences @anjelikaferrett and good luck with the moles for Chris .
@peteblue is there no way you could take Kay to one of the local care homes to have her hair done as they surely have a system .
Off to the shops as it is bargain day at Lidl ,we don't have Aldi and our main citymarket which has the other bits Lidl don't carry . We must also try to get cloves ,I have dried powder but I am making Stifado and I like to get it just right so I have all the excuses when the wife won't eat it !
We have been buying retsina to have with Tzatziki so I now have the greek bug although I am not allowed Baclava .

That’s a good idea Blue. I’ll try with a new hairdresser first but give it a shot if there’s an issue….

Pete from my knowledge of my sister’s care home they have a hairdresser come in on a regular basis , and I set money aside for this. It may be difficult to get Kay an appointment at a home’s dedicated day , but maybe you could get the name/ number of the hairdresser they use as it’s likely they would be used to visiting clients and have a good understanding of their needs.

We've still got a bit of breeze. Still no sign of the cat. Chris also had his moles removed today so fingers crossed all will be well.
Im off to Liverpool tomorrow afternoon- I'm going to a funeral on Friday morning. My oldest cousin passed away. It's at St Margaret Mary's in Huyton for the locals. I've never been to that church before.

28 degrees here at the moment, same for Friday then 29 degrees Saturday. Unfortunately I don’t do well in hot weather, but fortunately our house tends to be quite cool because we have several large cellars. It must be nice being able to sit out in this weather…..
 
Afternoon everyone, 28 degrees here and wall to wall sunshine. Sitting in the house as the heat in our south - west facing garden is brutal. Devil makes work for idle hands as my Nan used to say and I have just done something totally out of character. I tend to live in the present, don’t really make plans and try not look too far ahead. Trawling through my emails noticed one from Sportsbreaks and I’ve just booked tickets for Everton v Sunderland on 17th May, at least I’ve plenty of time to save up.
