Anyone read Duncs book yet?

…if the person who left his copy in the library of a Pathos hotel posts on here, I’d like to inform that it was still there this morning. Amazingly, it’s not there now, I can’t believe somebody has actually taken it to read, it certainly wasn’t me 🥸

Forgot the little snippet that Dunc gave the other week at Blackstock - when he got the gig as caretaker manager, he asked to be given the same money while he was doing it that Silva had been on...

Moshiri agreed and tells him it's £75k per week and £50k PER POINT

….i think it’s bordering on unethical to use this emotive point in our history to launch his book but it doesn’t surprise me in the least.

Nobody knows the soul and people associated with this club more than Steve and after all the interviews and accounts he has captured over many years for him to post the above is something everybody should take note of.
Not trying to be funny Eggs but who is Steve, I don’t see any reference to a Steve in the above posts.

"legend", "icon", "hero", "star"
These are just meaningless words that get bandied about a lot.
One individuals "legend" may be no more than average to another individual (as witnessed in this thread) and that's OK.
The fan base is comprised of individuals none of whom are qualified to say who is or isn't a true Everton legend.

*apart from Hibbo of course, I'm sure we can all agree on that one.
True, Gareth Farrelly is a hero for instance, nevertheless we are all entitled to say who we think is a legend etc or why we think they are not. To go further what we think about a book, I’ve read it and I’d take about 80% of it with a pinch of salt.
