How have they got him for £8.5mil ?

Hes an Italian u21 centre back with 2 senior caps and very highly rated.

Unbelievable fee.

None of that actually translates to them actually 'doing well' though.

I'm glad you rate Kayode, as so do i. But if he hop footed back to Italy due to a number of different reasons, he wouldn't be the first good player too. You can't make an assessment on half a dozen starts

Udogie has done 'ok' nothing more, nothing less. That's not doing well. On this basis Zapacosta & Darmien were raging success' in England. i will give you Emerson Palmieiri though he has done well (like Jorginho, brazilian born)

Calafiori again.....stinks of not settling, i can picture him going back to Italy to do really well for Napoli or Juve for less of a fee Arsenal paid for him.

For context to others, this is Zat getting excited over a lad who cost Brighton £10m for someone who has played 2 full seasons in Italy

Well, no lets not twist things.

I didnt get "excited" whatsoever.

What I did do was post my amazement that an u21 Italian international centre back with 2 full international caps had moved for...

...£8.5mil.

For context to others, you then turned that post into ivory tower judgements from yourself on what Italians had "succeeded" (in only your opinion) in England.

Enjoy your pizza/pasta combo in Pizza hut i suppose.

Michael Keane has 15 odd England caps

Ravanelli - 30 years ago/relegated
Zola - 30 years ago
di canio - 30 years ago
Vialli - 30 years ago
de Matteo - 30 years ago
Pelle - Good shout, but also 10 years ago
Lombardo - Relegated/30 years ago
Cudicini - Good shout, but also 20 years ago
Carbone - 30 years ago
Maccarone - stunk the place out off a big fee, went back to italy and was good
Materazzi - got sent off a million times, didn't settle, went back to italy and was ace
We've had Kean and I think last before him was Ferrari on loan?

Anywho...

Ogbonna
Emerson
Jorginho
Zaniolo
Koleosho
Tonali
Vicario
Udogie
Casadei

We can all name italian players.

The question was, who was the last italian who done well. Your not putting Kean & Ferrari in that category are you?

As previously brought up, the obvios answer was Tonali, but his time in england hasent exactly been a bed of roses

He just named Vicario.

Rumours that Liverpool will spend for Isaak as well.

It’s honestly just turned into football manager now. 5 teams with unlimited budgets, everyone else with hardly any money. Then next season they put the same 5 or 6 teams on TV every week so they get even more money. Best league in the world though.
There's going to be about 270 games (out of 380) shown live next season. It seems that most teams will be on most weeks.
