They spent £430M since the Saudis turned up.
£310m (net) according to this over last 5 seasons so includes a few windows prior to their arrival.
However it does re-iterate how absolutely disgraceful it is we were docked points when our figures are £77m net profit on transfers over the same period, esp when you think how many players went on a bosman.

Think they’ve been very shrewd and built well in the transfer market over the last 2 seasons.

Doesn’t guarantee you a trophy though.
As we proved over the Moshri years. Its not how much money you spend that gets you success, its getting the right quality players that work well as a team, lead by a manager that can see how to beat any opponent on any day.

We were targeted by the PL and were supposed to be relegated that season with the points deduction. That was the plan.

And then Everton invite the slug Masters to the last game at Goodison. Daft as a brush the people running this club. Have been for decades. Let's hope TFG add some teeth to this organisation.

I was hoping with them being new owners and the utter farce that is Chelsea blatantly defying PSR, and now it transpires Man U are at it too with different companies for PSR accounting, that TFG would take Masters and his bandits to the cleaners.
There's still time but I honestly thought they might, even just to get the Everton fans on board with them.
Maybe the might when the Man City Fiasco is over, but I doubt it.

I don't go along with the notion that we admitted guilt, I know we did but others have walked away with blatant cheating.

Our charges were based on incompetence, not malfeasance. Incompetence is worse imo.

Malfeasance is what is suggested above, they're playing the system to their greatest benefit. Bending the rules. We should always been pushing the envelope with that.

Incompetence is what we've suffered through for far too long.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it was incompetent malfeasance in our case 😄

As was said at the time: Everton were there Goldilocks option. Just right to make an example of.

slugs.webp

We never sign players early to save on wages - then we are left fighting for the dregs in the late transfer window - Alcaraz was an exception as we had to move fast on the terms & conditions of his loan .....
