US preparing to partially evacuate Iraq embassy - sources
The United States is preparing a partial evacuation of its Iraqi embassy and will allow military dependents to leave locations around the Middle East due to heightened security risks in the region, US and Iraqi sources have said.
Got one of those parking charges from a private company for stopping at a roundabout in Belfast City Airport a few weeks back.
i appealed, they declined, so i went the independent appeals service. Just got an email to confirm that after the firm submitting their evidence and reviewing mine they have dropped the charge.

Of the 6 buses I have caught today everyone has been late, the least was 10 mins late the most is currently 35 mins late and according to my bus App still another 15 mins before it turns up. I would have been home between 5.30 and 6 if they had turned up on time I'm now looking at about 9.30.

Got a bollokking today, from a pensioner neighbour. Explained I've a bmi of 32. She said "no one came out of Belsen fat".
I admired her straight forwardness and complete inability to realise that using the holocaust to shame an overweight person was miles off acceptable.
I kept my cool, I didn't say that 99% of guests* at Belsen never left.
