Last Film You Watched

It showed how it saved them outside of the orders, it was the step after the second film, "are we learning yet". The missiles going, the sadness as the rain fell, the remnants dealing with the fallout, the end. Very poetic.

It sounds like you're as enamored with movies as I am with women...can we trade, movie rental is far more economically sound.

It's not my cup of tea. A bit of a generic action revenger. It doesn't do anything new. Could easily cut scenes into 'the book of eli' and not notice. 'De ja vu' and 'Fallen' are more quirky Denzel vehicles. I'm also a sucker for Hackman films, so 'Crimson tide' is a bit of fun as well. Give it (man on fire) a whirl and give us your review. It's all about opinions. [Note: except when it comes to n.coppola!]
I had seen the first part after all, but cos the 2nd half is a bit gruesome must have switched it off last time. Not bad 7/10.

The latest triumph for Saint Nic - The Surfer.

This time the Cage Meister excels as an Aussie exile, returning to the place of his birth in Aus, to buy his childhood home, which is situated directly above a bay populated by a group of the thuggish surfers.

Quite a strange film, in that parts of it are quite trippy and obviously tipping a nod to the 70’s, but the theme of the film is very current, toxic masculinity.

I really enjoyed it and Saint Nic is in his element.

Nothing will ever beat the Cage rage in this one, how it didn't clear up at the Oscar's I just don't know

not much on tv. Jurassic Park on itv4.

So, 30 year spoiler alert. The T-rex chows down on the sacrificial goat, even throws part onto the top of one of the cars. The T-rex also tests the power lines and blah blah breaks through to the car track. Next minute there's a 40 foot drop where the bleeder was stood. I'm all for industrial light and magic, but what is this, bizarro world?

Suitable Flesh, 2023.

Really enjoyed this. It's a loose Lovecraft adaptation with some nice calls to the lore, concerning a chain of body swaps with a supernatural source. It's neatly done despite the low budget, funny, sexy, quite gory and has an appropriate 80s, Stuart Gordon B Movie horror feel.
The cast is really game across the board especially from my fave scream queen Barbara Crampton and Heather Graham becoming delightfully more unhinged as the film goes on. They are both still absolutely weapons grade minx for their respective ages too, BC is mid 60s and has hardly changed since Reanimator.

On Prime but you need a Shudder sub.

Have always gone about this, how the T-Rex suddenly levitates up the 40ft drop. So many story telling cheats in Speilberg movies!
