Well nobody seems to be doing that constantly. He's been plop, he was cheap. We move on.

If he stays, I'll be pleased, if not a I hope he goes abroad as I hate the idea of watchng him play against Everton.

I like the idea actually. Watching a non-scoring striker play against Everton must be quite relaxing.

I remember the season before last, v Villa. Dom was played clean through down the middle. I knew he would hit it weakly straight at Emi Martinez. Martinez knew it, everyone in the stadium knew it, probably Dom himself knew it.

And ultimately, you just can’t have that feeling from your number 9.

Which was bizarre as he made nearly the exact same run at Villa Park in the LC and scored it

You don't see every wife come on and defend their husband. Most leave it, recognise the role of media in football and just keep schtum.

Keanes wife hasn't. Youngs wife hasn't.

Its not a problem but it's not helpful.

It's a free society and she can say whatever she likes mate. It makes no difference.

I watched it all yesterday. In general, he comes across really well. Some of the comments he made made absolutely no sense and seemed like he was just trying to sound intelligent. At one point he compared being a striker for Everton as a "chicken and egg situation".

There was one part where he was talking about Seamus being a hugely influential figure behind the scenes (which I am not disputing, btw) and how there have been countless times when he's needed to step in and rally the troops. Jake, the presenter, asked if he'd share one specific example of when that happened, and he wasn't able to give one. Haha.

He also talked about how some of his non-football activities might have come out at inconvenient times, without being too specific, but it was clear it was about him dressing up like a little girl at a time when he was either constantly injured or just playing crap. Can't help but feel this podcast is another example of bad timing!
