2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Stick him on a boat with a little sail and see where the trade winds take him. At best, in this country, he will end up with a Championship side, probably back at Sheffield United on a hell of a lot less money than he was on here. The evidence says that he is not very well regarded by other PL clubs hence the lack of interest. Sad but true.

That's good of him. But what we want is goals. And he cant deliver them.

The feller is just a soap opera now.

We need (and he needs) a clean break from him.

WTF Everton are playing at I dont know.

How difficult is it to release an underperforming play at the end of their contract?
That's fine, and this is all true, but these aren't the same points so I accept your apology.

In fairness, Game sees Game.

I liked Dom, and I still like him having listened to the podcast.

The interview wasn't a focus on Everton, or the fans, it was about Dom. What makes Dom tick, what his struggles were.

Those expecting it to be about Everton or how amazing the fans were, didn't grasp the fact that this was as much about DCL the man as opposed to professional footballer. This was a constant theme running through the interview that he is human and feels the responsibility of being a key player in a struggling side. It weighed him down and I get. Money, fame and fortune does not solve those issues. Only the strength to speak and have a strong support around you can really help.

Despite the fact he is a limited goalscorer, I think he as always tried his best. He has had poor games, but we've also seen him dominate centre backs (DCL Vs Konate and van Dijk was sensational).

If he stays, I'll be pleased, if not a I hope he goes abroad as I hate the idea of watchng him play against Everton.
