I don't think that anybody is surprised with Notts Forest sending the letter to UEFA. They are pretty much trying to do the same thing to Crystal Palace as they tried to do to ourselves.

I can't stand Notts Forest personally.

Same issue for a club in Ireland.

Drogheda won the FAI cup,to qualify for conference league. First time in Europe for a long time. Their owners (also own Walsall) bought Silkeborg who also got the conference league but they finished 7th vs Drogs 9th. So take the spot

Loss of €525k guaranteed will really hurt them.

But a fat Greek billionaire can ‘sign over’ his shares temporarily as if he isn’t calling the shots.

It’s disgusting (and incl Palace in that)

Sacked off most of the players who got them promoted instantly.

Signed about 100 players as soon as they got into the league.

were left unable to register them all.

Signed Jesse Lingard on about 200k a week.

Complained to the league about our spending and tried to file a lawsuit.

Then themselves got found guilty of the same thing they accused us of.

Hired an ex referee to try and help gain the edge on getting decisions.

Accused a match official of being a Luton fan when a decision went against them

Sacked the ex referee.

Had a season better than the majority of their fans would have wished for.

Stamped their feet when some better teams finished above them.

Got into bed with Palace co-owner John Textor

Tried to get Palace kicked out of Europe.

Been all around massive scabs.

Have I missed anything?

Its funny when a smaller team gets done, even through no fault of their own, the punishment they get hits them proper hard. The Drogheda situation, that half a million could take a lot of financial pressure of them for a season or two. The likes of City or Chelsea just blatantly break the rules and get a fine that is pocket money to them.

I wouldn't be quite so sure about there being something dodgy behind the penalty, but the dealings between Notts Forest and Textor’s clubs are quite unusual.
