Good afternoon all. So pleased that Gary's is home @Val P and that the op has been successful.
Fun fact - avocado's are named after testicles - derived from the Aztec word ahuacatl which relates to that part of a gentleman's anatomy!
Not much to tell you about - we had Frankie for a few hours yesterday. He was ever so good, Ive just been visited by one of my workmates so it was good to see her for a catch up.
I know it's very unlikely but I am really excited by the fact that we are even being linked with Jack Grealish I think he's a great player , he gives that extra something to a side. I feel like all he needs is a bit of TLC from a new club and he'll rediscover his mojo - a bit like Rashford at Villa.
I doubt if we could do a deal with City that keeps everybody happy though. I'm also not sure he fits what is a Moyes type of player.
Anyway the rain has stopped so I might cut the grass - not a particularly strenuous job since we moved!

Sunburnt and drenched again today . Didn’t do the full walk (ends in Omeath) but glad I took part at least. Disappointing to see counter protesters but stupid of me to be initially surprised by it in this country.

Munster Hurling Final on at 6pm on RTE. One of the biggest occasions in Irish sport and I couldn’t recommend it more highly to any of you looking something different to watch- channel 162 on Sky.

It’s a starter and main course night from the Chinese for me as I settle in and rest my legs.

Given that you probably spent Saturday evening watching grown men smacking each other over the head with giant hockey sticks you probably didn't get the chance to watch this so here you go.

I actually can't think of any artist ever who could have done this. Headline such a huge festival and a crowd of over 100,000 people, on the back of just one album. And totally own it too. Enjoy mate.

Mate I have to admit that I'm finding it hard to visualise a drooping avocado. It did however make me think of an old Pink Floyd album I used to own called A nice pair. I think I only bought it because it had a photo of naked female breasts on the cover (Definitely not droopy), which probably said a lot about the libido of the 14 yo me.

Almost everyone in the Everton thread throwing scorn on Grealish but I'm with you Anj so long as the wages aren't too silly. He'd be the first proper baller we've had since James left.

People seem under the impression we don’t need options and that players won’t get injured. A years loan for Grealish is a no brainer.

Yeah that was just Internet chatter although she was having some difficulty coming to terms with her overnight fame.

Good morning all on this super day here beautiful sunny and getting warm but I am will be in the garage doing the front brakes ! I hope all are well and had a fine night's rest going on to have a great day .I just watched the highlights of Alcaraz vs Sinner ,unbelievable tennis . All my wife's family have taken lessons and one played in the Finnish national side , my SIL has her own court at the family summer place and I have lost against them all !
