2024/25 Seamus Coleman

….wow, that’s some prediction, who’d have thought we’d want to keep a player who has total respect and is clearly a huge influence off the pitch. Worthy of a self-vault
A player who can hardly get on the pitch, though, and is clearly finished at the top level.

Keep him on as a coach by all means, and he's obviously a great bloke and would make a fantastic ambassador for the club.

…i wouldn’t get hung up on the contract detail, everybody knows his worth to the club and why he’s still being employed. It would take circumstances to see him on the pitch again, I think that last appearance was a lot to do with the occasion.

Well, that was basically sure after Moyes' comments a few weeks ago. His impact on the team is still high despite him barely playing or even being available for play. Probably that was also part of the deal.

We need to sign a new right back this summer no matter that.

I hope this is the case Eggs, Seamus is a great guy but putting sentiment aside he can't be starting games, so injury prone nowadays.
Bring him on as a coach by all means he deserves that opportunity and would be a terrific ambassador but we've got to be a little ruthless where playing is concerned if we want to compete..
