That Bournemouth home game was the most disappointing for me, out of many choices in that first half of the season. To have been in complete control and actually playing well for about 65-70 minutes and then letting them come back into the game. Even before they got their first goal, I had a terrible feeling that we weren't going to win, with the way the match had been turning. Not only had they scored twice in added time, but Pickford saved a great chance a minute before they actually scored the winner. A capitulation beyond belief and my dad, who wasn't there, as he was on holiday, had me on the phone to him for god knows how long, after the match, putting him in a bad mood, just from my ranting.
Spurs at home felt the most pleasing. Seeing the team sheet before the game and noticing the changes that Moyes made from the Villa game. The clear change in style of play and actually playing to win, doing more than trying to nick a goal and keep it tight at the back, hoping not to concede, scoring 3 goals. The 2 conceded were a blight and did activate PTSD from the Bournemouth game, but overall I left that game, thinking that was big step in the right direction and felt confident that we'd stay up, which I wasn't a couple of weeks prior.
Honourable mentions for Villa, Bournemouth, Southampton, Spurs away, Man United the missus, Brighton & Ipswich at home for disappointments.
For most pleasing mentions, Palace, Forest, Fulham, Newcastle away, Liverpool, Leicester & Southampton at home
