Sunburnt and drenched again today . Didn’t do the full walk (ends in Omeath) but glad I took part at least. Disappointing to see counter protesters but stupid of me to be initially surprised by it in this country.

Munster Hurling Final on at 6pm on RTE. One of the biggest occasions in Irish sport and I couldn’t recommend it more highly to any of you looking something different to watch- channel 162 on Sky.

It’s a starter and main course night from the Chinese for me as I settle in and rest my legs.

We watched Mobland yesterday all but the last episode ,I think it is up with the best and nice to see Dame Helen swearing her head off !

have a nice time it’s raining here!

Thank you. Chucked it down about half an hour after party started so obviously had to move indoors. Had a great time though playing games with her over-excited grandsons, aged 9 and 7, and trying to catch up with the other guests. The grandsons wanted to watch the football which we thought would keep them occupied for a bit, they lasted about twenty minutes (I’m surprised they lasted that long, I was bored after about ten) before the shove hapenny board and Jenga came out again.

It was largely a nice day here, so much so that I popped along mid afternoon to a local cricket match , the first time for more years than I can remember. I spent a pleasant couple of hours in the sunshine chatting to people , watched 20 overs and went home. Live cricket at this level is not particularly gripping but I’ll likely go again ….maybe.

Off to the shops for food and bits to play with ,My avocado is starting to droop so I want to make a support for it ,Fred should have fun with that ! Morning Blue, I’ve been waiting hours for you to post. Best of luck building an avocado support. I’ll be taking Kay out for another drive around the the countryside later. The cleaning company arrive again today so I leave them, and my son to supervise, while we have our drive. I hope the weather picks up. For those of us in the U.K. the weather will be so so. Morning all, I hope everyone is well. We gave our avocado tree to our son when it got too big to fit inside and he put it outside as it became too big to fit inside his house too. Sadly it perished over winter. I’m guessing you keep yours indoors @blue1948 ? I hope the weather improves for your drive @peteblue
Garry came home late yesterday afternoon. He’s very wobbly on the stairs which is stressing me out as we have no stair rail, and we’ve had to rearrange furniture so he has a suitable armchair that he can get in and out of - these modern suits are rubbish for that. Apart from that he’s made up to be home and his knee was beyond the physio’s expectations so happy days. Time to crack the whip with his rehab.

Morning all, I hope everyone is well. We gave our avocado tree to our son when it got too big to fit inside and he put it outside as it became too big to fit inside his house too. Garry came home late yesterday afternoon. Yes indoors , I agree modern sofas are rubbish for support ,I blame them Swedes ! I apoligise in advance but I can see you cracking the whip despite how nice you seem on here ! Wish Garry the best from us .
