Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Started listening to the Blue Frontier podcast. Seems to be led by an American who is working in the scouting/recruitment industry in football. They’ve done two position reviews so far and come up with the following suggestions outside the usual carousel or PL players.

Anyone know if a) these are any good, or b) likely?

CF -
Nick Woldemate
El Bilal Toure
Yves Guessan
Promise David

RW -
Dilane Bakwa
Johan Bakayoko
Abdul Fatawu
Edon Zhegovra
Geovany Quenda

We’ll end up with Tammy Abraham & Jack Grealish on loan, won’t we? (And I wouldn’t be unhappy with that either :))

Nick Woldemate -linked
El Bilal Toure - Class but always injured
Yves Guessan
Promise David - 23 scoring goals in belgium

RW -
Dilane Bakwa - Strasbourg good stats
Johan Bakayoko - £20mil asking super deal
Abdul Fatawu - Leicester, no.
Edon Zhegovra - Highly thought of
Geovany Quenda - Signed for Chelsea, going to be a star

We’ve already got two players that play in the same position/role as him. If this is going to be a protracted drawn-out saga then I would rather we just move on and not waste our time, we have other priority positions to address.

As I posted in the transfer thread, we have Ndiaye, Alcaraz and McNeil for 3 attacking midfield positions. We need 2 more signings.

If we could get Grealish on loan then it could be a catalyst for the team. Ndiaye and Alcaraz would need to fight for their place and I expect would improve for being on the pitch with him and training with him every day.

Its clear to me that if we could fill one of those two signings required with a loan for Grealish then its a no brainer.

The money we would make on extra TV games and league placing improvement could cover the cost.

Anything we had put away for a permanent signing could be added onto the 2nd signing needed at RW.

Will fill the hole left by Gylfi. Exciting times!
