Transfer Rumour Jack Grealish

Agreed though his Barca team were a joy to watch but that's mainly because it had prime Messi in it
That team was more incisive, and when you have a Messi, why not? Peps City are technically great, but they just bore the opposition into submission with endless passing. I find a good sliding tackle and a bit of argey bargey far more invigorating, but I'm old school.

No you're suggesting he's a great manager and not a fraud by using his CV as evidence whilst I'm saying its no big achievement winning league titles with PSG and Bayern (Even Laurent Blanc and Vincent Kompany have managed that) Also you can be overrated even if you've had success especially if you've been given it on a plate with a big advantage over your rivals (see F1 as an example where drivers get overrated when winning multi titles even if they've had a massive car advantage) Watching the England game right now I'm struggling to figure out why a so called great manager has Curtis Jones at right back, Reece James at left back and a geriatric Jordan Henderson in midfield against the mighty Andorra

Again nowhere did I suggest he's a great manager. You really seem to enjoy straw man arguments.

I just pointed out he's clearly not a fraud

Yup. And he ruined the best side in Europe at the time in Bayern Munich. Made them cagey and negative and threw away a few extra Champions Leagues.
Another example was when he over tinkered tactically and lost at home to Lyon in the Champions League knockout phase when Man City were favourites to win the competition. I remember the media criticising him for trying to be too clever and basically costing them the tie. Funnily though the media quickly forget these instances and fawn over him as some 'genius' coach and some laughably claim he's the best coach there's ever been

I'm the same

It’s very much that traditional Spanish style. Having guys that were great at it, with that little bit of total football injected into the Barca system by Cruyff, made it a great combination.

I always felt the Barca team with Suarez, Messi and Neymar were better at their peak.

People played down Enrique at the time, but he’s proven he’s the real deal with PSG.

Tottingham Hotspurts have come in to 5-1 now. Napoli right out to 8-1 now. Man City also drifting.
Further movement in the bush. Spurs back to 6-1 also..

There's no way that team was better than the Barca team that beat Utd in the 2nd champions league final. Nowhere near as good. I have never seen a better sports team in any sport.

He did the same in the final against Chelsea and they scrapped over the line when they won it.
