His Barca team is the best side I've ever seen agreed. But to me he's an over thinker and tinkerer and it's telling that he's had 2 stinker seasons with the sportwashers (Man City) and his solution is to demand big investion in the squad rather than a coaching solution

No you're suggesting he's a great manager and not a fraud by using his CV as evidence whilst I'm saying its no big achievement winning league titles with PSG and Bayern (Even Laurent Blanc and Vincent Kompany have managed that) Also you can be overrated even if you've had success especially if you've been given it on a plate with a big advantage over your rivals (see F1 as an example where drivers get overrated when winning multi titles even if they've had a massive car advantage) Watching the England game right now I'm struggling to figure out why a so called great manager has Curtis Jones at right back, Reece James at left back and a geriatric Jordan Henderson in midfield against the mighty Andorra

Potentially an embarrassing result coming up!! People can say what they want about Southgate but he normally smashed teams he was expected to and he performed better in that role in qualifiers and in tournaments better than any of the previously appointed so called ‘heavyweights’ like Erriksen and Capello.

England will win but its very insipid and not something to use as a base for a successful future. Why are players out of position? Why isn't Myles Skelly playing? Also it looks like he's got a Chelsea bias going on with the selection of James and Madueke

He's a clever coach no doubt, but I find his brand of togger rather boring.
