News of Ex Players

A name perhaps not known to many is Milko Virtanen , part of our youth set up 12-13 years ago but never made an impact and went off to Aberdeen . After spells with various other Scottish clubs he’s just signed for Elgin City in Scottish League 2 , very much part-time pro stuff. He’s 26 now was very highly rated back when we brought him in from Finland but apart from his blonde/ white hair I can’t really remember anything about him.
I heard he had some injury issues (back I think) that impacted him. He and his family moved over from Finland so they were quite serious about his career but this time it doesn't seem like it paid off.

Always like him, was a no brainer move from him. Dyche was forcing him out because the lad dared to cross the half-way line, we needed the money and he got a lot of money. Least we got to see Jack Harrison instead for two seasons.

Don't blame him for not giving a crap in that 'league' either.

Thierry Small has signed a four-year deal at Preston North End having left Charlton Athletic. If I recall correctly, he wanted to leave us at the age of 16 to try and establish himself as a top-flight player. How is that going?
Seems to be moving back in the right direction tbf.

5th club in 5 years and still undecided what his actual position is. Hopefully he has found a home at preston

I can't take issue with Tosun as it was not his fault that he was not the profile of striker which we should have been looking for. He scored a couple of nice goals, including his goal against Crystal Palace when he collected the ball from a Michael Keane pass.

I am probably most grateful for when he got that equaliser against Tottenham to prevent them from winning after Son injured Andre Gomes.
