Admittedly I did not watch the Spain vs France match, but I did look at both nations' squads. If I had to choose a squad which had more quality within it, I would have to select the Spanish squad as it contains plenty of players which I rate - Yamal, Olmo, Williams, Marino and Ruiz to name just a few.

However, that match was packed with top quality players all over the pitch and I am struggling to see how England could better Spain. Maybe England could out-do France, as they seem to be undergoing a transition, but I still have my doubts as to whether England could beat that France side.

I think the only way we beat them is by the old fashioned ‘boring them to death’

‘keep it tight and nick one’ as the cool kids say .

As you say the quality they both have quality everywhere, both streets above England on the ball .

Yamal and Cherki are unreal. Not a patch on our Iliman though

I think dare I say it is the way to be best them is to go direct bypass the midfield and get right at the back line which looked vulnerable when France had a go.

Does loads, but I can't help but think of the email which got leaked, when he kept getting overlooked.

Not sure why it stuck with me. But it always tainted me view of him.

Remember him doing loads with the girl with the inside out heart, so clearly a sound fella, but the fume just sticks with me. Probably more worthy of a Knighthood than half of the people who have one mind.
