While I agree they are not as good, nowhere near is maybe saying a bit too much. That said I agree that there is a lot to behold even in "uneventful" games. I have a friend who always starts moaning when games don't resemble FIFA video games or highlight videos. I just think that means one doesn't really love football if only one type of match will satisfy you. Which is not bad per se. But please stop with the moaning.
