First 45 min were boring as hell and the entertainment started only in the last half hour when Germany went flat and PSG reinforcements elevated a lackluster Portugal

On paper, not a contest on which will be the more entertaining…even for a hoops fan

Hoops fan?

1st half there were no goals, that's all. It was a period where Germany asserted their dominance. The game as a whole has to be taken in and assessed. There we saw Germany sitting back after scoring and allowing Portugal possession and the ability to boss the game.

It was a fascinating struggle.
