Out of the three players you have named, only Kanchelskis made a worthwhile contribution during his time with the club. The others joined at the back end of their careers once they were past their best.

Maybe there is a lesson to be learnt here when we are being linked with the likes of Grealish, who are likely to be expensive wastes of time.

same thought I had, cancel some of the fee structure, champion it as some sort of renaissance.

Genuinely don't think they could cope with his subsidised wages bill as well as Rashfords? That would have every other players agents frothing at the mouth, hammering on Emerys door seeking pay rises for their clients.
