2024/25 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

if the reports about us not giving him a deadline to decide whether to accept it are true, that is completely stupid to me.

His contract runs out at the end of June, hypothetically he waits till then to see if anyone comes in for him, that doesn’t happen, he then decides to sign a new contract with us. We’re allowing him to hold all the cards.

….yep, this is the type of link I mentioned this morning. I’d imagine there are suitors, he’ll be after the best financial deal possible in terms of signing fee, salary and length of contract.

Good luck to him.

He will have plenty of offers I'm sure, including from sides in Europe. Id imagine we will make him an offer too, but it may not be the best deal on the table now we have left it so late to give him an offer.

One thing is sure...he will not be earning 100k a week no more. He will have to prove his worth again. I see this one dragging all summer long really even beyond so that he gets the best offer with the most wages. From our perspective, I think we have moved on from him and the links with delap proves it.

Bit stupid of him to wait until then. As we've seen in the last four years he's the last player who'll be effective if he just does a half hearted pre season, will probably get injured on the first day.

As I've always said let him know be someone else's problem to manage with fitness and everything else.

Time for him to make his mind up, its not fair on Everton.
