Yup. Clearly he still has a lot of proving himself to do to the manager, so this is his chance. We get the player so many wanted and the manager - if he has doubts - has now given the player his chance and an incentive to prove himself. Win-win.

Still doesn’t make sense though, we could agree to pay flamengo in 2 instalments even if we gave him a 5 year contract. It’s just on PSR it would spread over 5. Not sure Flamengo have the power in a transfer deal to stipulate the length of his contract once he isn’t their player.
